30pm Summary The Parts, Rental, and Transportation Associate is responsible for demonstrating superior customer service to our internal and external customers by providing professional assistance in person and via phone and ensuring accuracy in the procurement and fulfillment of all parts orders, equipment rentals, and transportation.
This position is also responsible for daily operations of the rental and part department, coordinating the ordering and delivery of equipment that is entrusted to the rental and transportation department.
This position works with the Branch Manager to ensure that rentals are available and ready for delivery, transportation paperwork is accurately prepared, and drivers are efficiently dispatched.

Parts Process parts distribution and sales to internal technicians and over the counter customers through all available tools and resources (phone, text, counter, and email).
Effectively research and create orders using internal inventory and external partnerships, within a timely manner.
Coordinate back ordered parts with customers, technicians, vendors, and / or other branch locations.
Implement inventory control procedures to ensure proper management and control of parts inventory stocking levels and efficiencies, including storage.
Ship and receive incoming and outgoing orders with accuracy.
Replenish vans, review requests and fill.
Coordinate quotes with technicians, CSS, and other customers.
Interact with A/R regarding customer accounts, over credit limits and COD's.
Open, manage and close sales orders.
Ensure warehouse and counter is well organized, clean, and stocked.
Implement and manage 5S standards to maintain a lean and safe environment within all areas of responsibilities.
Execute proper billing procedures and ensure timely payments of parts.
Manages, balances, and reconciles cashbox; reports differences to Branch Manager.
General clerical duties including but not limited to filing, emailing, creation of orders.
Rental Primary for incoming rental inquiries from internal & external customers.
Quote pricing and availability of rental equipment.
Process Subrent Orders (including updating purchase orders, selling out subrent ID's).
Make sure subrent billing is done correctly and profitably.
Enter rental invoices in the Toyota Portal and directing invoices to the correct billing management company.
Maintain customer rental contracts & ensure rental invoices are billed timely & accurately.
Process Cash on Delivery (COD) and credit card payments.
Follow up internal rental requests in a timely manner.
Maintain daily updated Rental inventory report.
Transportation:
Dispatch transportation of equipment (rental/sold/shop work) Backup to coordinator.
Manage rental, & transportation documents.
Make Inside Sales calls promoting rental business with current and potential customers.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Schedule the transportation of all incoming and outgoing units, including new, used, demo, rental, lease returns, trade ins, shop repairs, etc.
Communicate in a timely manner all deliveries and transfers to the appropriate SWTL associates and customers.
Stage driver loads when possible.
Ensure the accuracy of all shipping and receiving paperwork.

Qualifications Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
3 to 5 years parts experience in a retail or warehouse environment required.
3 to 5 years material handling equipment rental and/or dispatch experience preferred.
Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook required at a minimum.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Previous Inventory control responsibility required.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Valid California driver's license.
Must be able to present and maintain a good driving record.
Must have a neat and professional appearance as this position interacts with customers daily.
Must have working knowledge of 5S standards.
Physical requirements Must be able to repetitively stoop, bend, push, pull, squat, climb and kneel on a regular basis.
Must be able to operate computers.
Must be physically able to repetitively lift 50 pounds unaided (must ask for assistance if lifting over 50 pounds).
Must be physically able to speak and interact with other company associates.
Must be physically and mentally able to read, write, and follow directions.
